seven-day-a-week training facility. We provide students with a flexible training schedule which can be structured and adapted to their busy schedules.
Students may opt to take all or part of their training during weekdays, weeknights or weekends.Our training rates are affordable and we offer in-house financing to those who qualify.
Training Provided
We offer training for both Class A and Class B Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDL's). Other programs
include corporate training as well as Fire Department CDL classes. NDT Driver Training also has earned a strong reputation for its advanced specialty driver training (call for pricing).
Curriculum
Our students are typically driving trucks right from the very first day of school and are in the trucks and behind the wheel each and every day of school. We also work the classroom component into the
overall schedule during every week of training to reinforce and apply the classroom curriculum with actual hands-on training experience. Classroom training is scheduled throughout the time in school,
thereby applying what is learned in the classroom with the actual hands-on experience.
Training Length and Schedule
Class A CDL training at NDT Driver Training is open-ended. The professional instructors at NDT Driver Training will continue to work with each student until both the instructor and the trainee feel safe and
confident in the student's proficiency and safe driving abilities. At NDT Driver Training, we pride ourselves on preparing the serious-minded individual for a career as a professional driver -- for real life
situations and not just to pass the state road test.
Regular training facility hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am to 2:00pm. We can be
very flexible with your training schedule. Some students, for example, attend mornings only or just Tuesdays and Saturdays. Your schedule can be
adjusted around your job or other responsibilities. One-on-one training can be scheduled at any time.
Accreditations and Certifications
NDT Driver Training is certified by the U.S. Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) and is licensed by the Rhode Island Board of Governors for Higher
Education (RIBGHE), as well as the Rhode Island Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). We are certified by the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Departments of Labor and Training for those who qualify.
